At Gigstager,we allow entertainers to choose which gig they want to perform and we assist them in making this decisions.However,we have zero tolerance for a no-show-up cancelation.This simply means that when an entertainer accepts a gig and yet,doesn't show up for it.Gigtager may sanction or evict the entertainer from its platform. Below are a few disadvantage of No-show-up cancelation.
1.It creates bad relationship between gigs and clients: When clients book for an entertainer, The client simultaneously make arrangements for the performance.When an entertainer doesn't show up,it can mar the event beyond rectification. This may reduce the trust and dependency on gigs next time when the client needs our service.
2.Bad business: clients use gigs to boost their business.This readily applies to clients who host events, run a bar,a pub or a club.A no-show-up cancelation might grossly downplay their sales.
3.A breach to safety: Some gigs are safety inclined.This may include teaching some staffs about safety gears or fire brigade techniques. A no-show-up cancelation may cause consequential ignorance mishaps, which could lead to accidents,injuries or death.
4.Sadness and poor health:Certain gigs are fixed for certain health purpose.people with insomnia may need a lullaby singer.People suffering depression may need a comedian.People requiring health attention may need some lectures from some doctors.
It is based on the above reason that we have a zero tolerance for no-show-up cancelation. If an entertainer wouldn't take up a gig,they do well to inform the HR 2 days before the event.
